Mark Kaplan joined Dimension Development Partners in 2017. As Vice President of Acquisitions, he is responsible for identifying underutilized assets that provide redevelopment opportunities as well as managing the acquisition process in alignment with client needs.

Mark has a diverse background in various aspects of real estate. His career began with The Trilogy Group in 2013, when he was engaged in both tenant and landlord representation for a number of national and regional tenants, managing more than 800,000 square feet of retail projects throughout Georgia. Later, Mark took on a role managing the expansion strategy for one of Atlanta’s highest volume restaurants, successfully adding $7 million in new store revenue to the company’s portfolio while simultaneously lowering existing operating costs and overhead.

Since joining Dimension, Mark has participated in the market expansion and development of multiple national brands, including Krispy Kreme, IHOP, Chipotle, Whataburger, Popeye’s and Valvoline. He has been involved with projects in Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Minnesota, and Virginia. With a focus on acquisitions, Mark specializes in finding off-market opportunities, creating assemblages, and carving out portions of land for purchase.

Mark lives in Sandy Springs with his wife, Luisa, and black lab, Maggie.
